"She will be loved" by Maroon 5 from the album Songs about Jane. This song was off of Maroon 5 oldest albums. It is still known today as one of their most famous written songs. Maybe there is a reason for this
The song "she will be loved" is about how there is this girl and how she was never really treated right. She was 18 years old and she was just seen as this amazing girl but she never say that. This man they refer to in the song they say " i drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door" this is just the beginning of the setup of the song from where he begins to explain his love for her. He then goes on to referring to her as saying "look for the girl with the broken smile..." "she will be loved" that he loves her no matter what but to herself she is never good enough and never will be good enough. this song talks about how love comes in many ways and no one is perfect. someone may see something about you that you might not see about yourself. " want to make you feel beautiful i know i tend to get so insecure it doesn't matter anymore" forget about what people are saying he's not perfect and that's okay that she not perfect he just wants her to see that and be happy together" he then go almost telling her he will do no matter what for her she perfect to him. " It's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along" he is saying its not gonna always be perfect but that's okay cause that all he needs that whats will make them work. In the song there is a line " I know where you hide alone in your car, know all of the things that make you who you are. I know that goodbye means nothing at all.comes back and makes me catcher every time she falls" He wants to be there for her no matter what.she is use to saying goodbye and having nothing last for her. He wants her to know that she doesn't have to say goodbye any more that he is here to stay and won't do her wrong "please don't try so hard to say goodbye" then he says "i don't mind spending everyday out in the corner in the pouring rain" and then says one last time " please don't try so hard to say goodbye". Maroon 5 does a very good a job with its language when they talk about him "standing on a corner in the pouring rain" i can really feel that they mean that. This song the meaning behind it is really well conved. They do a great job of imagery and that i can picture them singing this to any girl and it could relate to her but also that you could really see a women that feels insecure and that this man is doing everything and anything in his power to get her to see that she is his everything. They repeat a couple of lines which really make those lines very powerful and meaningful.
