ISIS

The US needs to immediately address the issue with ISIS, because ISIS acts more like a military power than a terrorist group instead. By that I mean that ISIS use tactics to get to where they want. But not how they want it to happen. The US needs to act now before we are attacked by ISIS without warning. According to the organization's director general has called ISIS, a destruction of Palmyra's architectural gems "a war crime."(Director General) “In August, they leveled two temples of immense cultural significance -- the Temple of Bel and the Temple of Baalshamin -- prompting outrage and condemnation from around the world.” The United Nations Cultural Organizations describes the Arch as multicultural richness and great history. (UNCO) The Arch itself was once a Trade Route, to three countries, these three countries were Persia, India and China. Which were lead into the Roman Empire later. Later temples were also destroyed and they were represented as Roman-era funerary towers that were “among the representative and evocative monuments.” The Palmyran Arch of Triumph in Syria, is an ancient building made very long ago. It’s history is large behind it and the Arch itself. According to Civilians in Kobani, “Eyewitnesses said some gunmen spoke Kurdish and knocked on doors telling locals to come out. "People rushed out and were killed," Nasan said.”(Nasan) According to Nasan, he describes what ISIS did that morning. Nasan said they enter Kobani from the East and the West, and were disguised too. They were wearing YPG (Kurdish Security Forces). When people saw they did not fear them. ISIS opened fire and killed many civilians. “Those tactical victories put ISIS' formidable rivals just 55 kilometers (about 35 miles) away from the city of Raqqa.” "(ISIS) is a very tactical and strategic group, much more-so than al-Qaeda ever were." “show that this group is functioning more like an army than a terrorist organisation." (Natasha Underhill) The ISIS organization are using tactics that can infiltrate others without them noticing who they are. It shows us that ISIS isn’t afraid and they want to scare people; and how intimidating ISIS is and not how people would want to think how ISIS is. By using tactics such as disguises, airstrikes, underground trenches to other towns/cities. ISIS can have an advantage over others without any warning. Other Military forces who are against ISIS won’t know their next move is because of these strategic tactics.
